The Lena Waithe-created drama series “The Chi” is set to conclude its run this week with the premiere of its eighth season finale. The final episode, titled “The Last Dance,” will air on Friday, July 24, at 3:01 a.m. ET on Paramount+ and Sunday, July 26, at 9:00 p.m. ET on Showtime.
Originally debuting in January 2018, the series chronicled the lives of residents in the South Side of Chicago. Season 8 marks the end of the show, with a total of 88 episodes having aired over its eight-season span.
All episodes of “The Chi” are available for streaming on Paramount+. The service offers two subscription tiers: Essential, which includes ads and costs $8.99 per month, and Premium, which is ad-free, includes Showtime content and live CBS, and costs $13.99 per month. A seven-day free trial of the Premium plan is currently available.
While the show concludes, other series continue on Paramount+. Taylor Sheridan's espionage thriller "Lioness" is slated to return for a third season.
