Tess Daly, 57, was seen at a fashion event in London on Friday, celebrating 40 years of collaboration between Selfridges and Paul Smith. The appearance comes just ahead of the premiere of the latest season of "Strictly Come Dancing," a show she hosted for 21 years.

Daly, who wore an asymmetric white top and flared trousers, was pictured smiling and showing no signs of regret. She attended the event with her friend and NAIA Beach co-founder Gayle Lawton and also connected with Kirsty Gallacher.

This year marks a new era for "Strictly Come Dancing" with new hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe taking the helm. The upcoming season will also introduce five new professional dancers. The show aims to engage a younger audience through social media.

The celebrity lineup for the new season includes Dani Dyer, Lacey Turner, Melanie Walters, Delta Goodrem, Will Best, Chris Appleton, Jaime Winstone, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Olympians Dame Sarah Storey and Tabby Stoecker, Love Island winner Cach Mercer, Bethany Antonia, Graeme Hall, Lawrence Robb, and John Nellis.

The launch show, which pairs celebrities with professional dancers, is set to reveal the pairings before the first live show on September 26. Co-host Josh Widdicombe expressed nerves about the upcoming premiere, stating he had been living in "a ball of fear."

Details about the presenters' roles remain under wraps, with Johannes Radebe teasing viewers to tune in for reveals. The first episode will feature a unique dance segment where all celebrity contestants switch partners. Emma Willis described the segment as fast-paced with multiple groups learning and performing different routines.

Johannes Radebe commented on the demanding nature of the new dance, admitting he was glad to have transitioned from a professional dancer role. Meanwhile, Emma Willis shared that she practices with her husband, Matt Willis, for an ensemble routine that the presenters will also perform.
