Sydney Sweeney has arrived in Venice for the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The actress was photographed on Thursday aboard a water taxi, wearing a white mini dress and sunglasses, with a friend acting as her social media manager.
Sweeney is in Venice in her capacity as a global ambassador for Armani Beauty, which is an official sponsor of the festival. While she does not have any film projects to promote at this year's event, she is expected to walk red carpets and attend parties.
The Venice International Film Festival began on Wednesday with the premiere of Danny Boyle's "Ink." The festival is scheduled to conclude on September 12 with the Italian costume drama "Dio Ride."
Attendees expected at the festival include Noel and Liam Gallagher, Rooney and Kate Mara, Robert Pattinson, Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem, Pamela Anderson, Sam Rockwell, John Malkovich, Louis Garrel, Cho Yeo-jeong, and Ellen Burstyn, who will receive a lifetime achievement award.
Sweeney, who will celebrate her 29th birthday next week, spent her first night in Venice at Harry's Bar. The previous day, she was seen in Los Angeles with Scooter Braun, her boyfriend of approximately one year. The couple was accompanied by Braun's three children from his previous marriage.
