Suki Waterhouse and her fiancé Robert Pattinson have departed Venice following a whirlwind 24-hour visit for the premiere of Pattinson's new film, "Primetime." The couple were seen heading to the airport on Sunday after attending the film's red carpet premiere the previous evening.
Waterhouse opted for a casual yet chic ensemble for their departure, wearing a sheer white long-sleeve wrap blouse paired with classic blue denim jeans. She accessorized with dark rectangular sunglasses and a large black YSL shoulder tote bag. Pattinson, continuing to promote his latest project, wore a graphic "Primetime" T-shirt, dark grey trousers, and sunglasses.
The couple had arrived in Venice on Saturday morning, with Pattinson attending a photocall and press conference for "Primetime" shortly after. Later, they appeared together on the red carpet for the film's premiere. Waterhouse wore a Saint Laurent silk-trimmed lace minidress with sheer black tights and slingback heels, while Pattinson donned an oversized white pinstripe suit with a white shirt and striped tie.
"Primetime," directed by Lance Oppenheim, is described as an A24 true story drama focusing on the American journalist Chris Hansen's immersion into the world of underground crime. The film also marks the acting debut of singer Phoebe Bridgers, who stars alongside Pattinson, Skyler Gisondo, and Merritt Wever. Pattinson also served as a producer on the project.
The Venice Film Festival began on Wednesday, with the premiere of Danny Boyle's "Ink," a drama about Rupert Murdoch. The festival is set to conclude on September 12 with the Italian costume drama "Dio Ride" (God Laughs). Maggie Gyllenhaal is serving as the jury chair for the main competition, joined by a panel of international directors, screenwriters, and a composer.
