Sugar artist Emma Jayne Morris has created life-size, edible figures of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Prince and Princess of Wales. The intricate creations, which took three months to complete, are made from Rice Krispies, marshmallows, modelling chocolate, and sugar paste.

Displayed at this year's Cake International show in Birmingham, the figures stand at the couple's actual heights: 6ft 2in for Prince William and 5ft 9in for Kate. Together, the edible royals weigh over 130kg, incorporating approximately 20kg of modelling chocolate and 100kg of sugar paste.

Prince William is depicted in his red Welsh Guards ceremonial uniform, complete with Order of the Garter regalia. Kate wears a replica of the Alexander McQueen dress she wore to King Charles's coronation. Morris, a mother of three from Aberdare, South Wales, described replicating the likeness of the high-profile couple as particularly challenging. "I will say Kate is the hardest, the likeness and the features were hard," she stated. "Getting the resemblance of this high-profile couple was very difficult."
