Former "Strictly Come Dancing" professional dancers Ola and James Jordan have confirmed their separation after more than 20 years of marriage. Their manager, Vickie White, confirmed the news, which was first reported by the Sun newspaper.
"It is with great sadness that I can confirm that James and Ola began a trial separation some time ago," White said in a statement. "Their shared priority remains co-parenting their daughter, Ella, and they are committed to putting her wellbeing first. They would greatly appreciate your understanding as they navigate this difficult time."
Ola Jordan, who won the Open Polish Championship in 1999 at age 17, became James' dance partner shortly after in March 2000. She moved to England the following month, and the couple married in October 2003.
James Jordan was a professional dancer on "Strictly Come Dancing" from 2006 to 2013. Ola Jordan appeared on the show until 2015. During their time on the BBC program, Ola's celebrity partners included wildlife presenter Steve Backshall and Welsh sprinter Iwan Thomas. James danced with former international gymnast Gabby Logan and television presenter Alex Jones.
