The Devil Wears Prada The Musical's gala night saw a star-studded turnout on Wednesday, with celebrities gracing the red carpet in fashionable attire. Among the attendees was model Christine McGuinness, who opted for a striking latex dress for the occasion. The event marked the debut of Teri Hatcher as the formidable Miranda Priestly.
Hatcher, known for her role in "Desperate Housewives," has taken over the lead role in the musical from Vanessa Williams for a limited run through February 6, 2027. "Miranda is intelligent, commanding, and has a glorious way of putting you in your place while being funny at the same time," Hatcher said in a statement about her new role. "Her dialogue is unforgettable, her confidence is contagious. These are the kinds of roles one loves to play."
Other notable guests included Megan McKenna, who wore a sharp grey suit, and sisters Billie Shepherd and Sam Faiers. Lorraine Kelly, Nadiya Bychkova, Jess Wright, Gabby Allen, Belle Hassan, and Ekin-Su Culculoglu were also among the stylish attendees.
McGuinness, 38, has previously shared details about her personal life, including her co-parenting arrangement with ex-husband Paddy McGuinness following their separation. The couple share three children and have continued to live in separate wings of their Cheshire mansion to support their children, who all have autism. McGuinness is slated to appear on "Ireland's Unfiltered With Lucy Kennedy Show" soon.
Hatcher's career includes a stint as a San Francisco 49ers cheerleader before transitioning to acting. She gained recognition for her role as Lois Lane in "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" and later starred as Susan Mayer in "Desperate Housewives."
