Actors Simone Ashley, Emma Corrin, and Dan Levy had a chance encounter on Wednesday afternoon while shopping and walking on London's Bond Street. Ashley, known for her role in "Bridgerton," was out with her spaniel, Myla, when she bumped into the fellow Hollywood stars.
Corrin, who starred in "The Crown," and Levy, from "Schitt's Creek," were seen shopping at Celine. They were dressed in coordinating black t-shirts and blue jeans. Levy accessorized his outfit with a baseball cap featuring the Japanese name "Tatsuya." Corrin completed her look with a black sweatshirt tied around her waist and black flats, wearing sunglasses.
Ashley opted for a more casual ensemble, wearing lace shorts, an oversized t-shirt, and Vans sneakers. The three actors reportedly doted on Ashley's dog, Myla, with both Corrin and Levy reaching down to pet the spaniel.
Corrin and Levy are known to be close friends, having vacationed together in Italy in 2023. Levy has publicly referred to Corrin as part of his "chosen family" and has spoken about their shared experience of becoming famous rapidly during the pandemic.
"Emma Corrin is a very close friend of mine, and they went through something very similar with The Crown over the pandemic as well, where suddenly everyone knew who they were, and yet we were all indoors," Levy told David magazine. "So we're still kind of thawing to this new version of our lives. You can't complain about it, obviously, because it's off the back of great success and opportunity, but it is certainly disorienting and so weird."
The pair also collaborated on Levy's 2023 film "Good Grief," in which Corrin made a brief cameo. It is likely that Ashley knows Corrin and Levy through their mutual connections within the entertainment industry.
Ashley, who gained prominence with her role in Netflix's "Sex Education" before starring in "Bridgerton," has recently been cast in "The Devil Wears Prada 2" as Amari, Miranda Priestly's new assistant. Ashley, born to first-generation Indian immigrants, has spoken about her parents' initial reservations about her pursuing a creative career, a path she felt drawn to from a young age after taking singing lessons at six years old.
