“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” returns for its fifth season on Sept. 10, with all episodes dropping at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu. The latest installment will delve into the aftermath of a March 2026 scandal involving cast member Taylor Frankie Paul, which led to ABC shelving her season of "The Bachelorette."

The controversy stemmed from a leaked video of an alleged domestic violence incident between Paul and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. Both parties made allegations against each other, but police ultimately declined to press charges.

"There’s so much stuff the public doesn’t know," cast member Mayci Neeley stated in the Season 5 trailer regarding the incidents. The filming of the current season was briefly paused in March due to the allegations, and the events are expected to be a central focus of the new episodes.

The season will also feature Whitney Leavitt's Broadway debut in "Chicago." Leavitt has announced that Season 5 will be her last on the show. Conversely, ABC is reportedly supporting Paul's potential return for a sixth season despite the cancellation of her "Bachelorette" engagement.

The returning cast for "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" Season 5 includes Taylor Frankie Paul, Jen Affleck, Jessi Draper, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, Miranda Hope, and Whitney Leavitt.

Subscribers can watch the new season on Hulu, with the basic plan priced at $11.99 per month and the ad-free option at $18.99 per month.
