Savannah Chrisley, 29, announced on Monday that she and her husband, Jason Galanis, 56, are expecting a baby boy. Chrisley shared a video on Instagram featuring her kissing Galanis and celebrating with family while cutting into a cake and viewing ultrasound images.
'IT’S A BOY!!! My sweet miracle boy… you are everything we prayed for and more,' Chrisley wrote in the clip. 'The most beautiful reminder that God’s plans are always greater than our own. The past few days have reminded me just how cruel this world can be. But no amount of hate could ever overshadow the joy of loving you. You are a MIRACLE.'
The news of the gender reveal follows Chrisley's recent admission that she secretly married Galanis in July, three months before publicly announcing her pregnancy. The marriage, confirmed by People, took place on July 14, 2026, in the Cayman Islands, where Galanis had previously proposed to Chrisley in December 2025.
Galanis was sentenced in September 2020 to over 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to orchestrating financial fraud operations that targeted a Native American tribe and investors, defrauding them of millions. As part of his sentence, he was ordered to forfeit more than $80 million and pay over $80 million in restitution. He had previously been a business associate of Hunter Biden and provided testimony to a Republican impeachment probe against former President Joe Biden in March 2024.
Chrisley's father, Todd Chrisley, addressed the relationship on the podcast Dumb Blonde, stating that while he did not initially embrace the age difference, he chose to support his daughter. "He has treated her with the utmost respect," Todd Chrisley said.
In March 2025, President Donald Trump commuted Galanis's sentence. Months later, Trump issued pardons for Todd and Julie Chrisley on their 2022 bank fraud and tax evasion convictions.
Chrisley spoke about the 27-year age gap with Galanis on her podcast Unlocked, explaining her philosophy on relationships. "I have always said, 'I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years.' It's just such an amazing, fulfilling feeling to finally find your person. And I'm there. So yes, the age difference. So what?" she stated. She described Galanis as her best friend, emphasizing their mutual love, respect, and shared goals as they prepare to become parents. Chrisley characterized their relationship, which began in July 2025, as a "dream relationship" free from drama and chaos.
