Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx has revealed plans to move to Australia and expressed his excitement about fatherhood while attending the Melbourne Cup. Foxx, 58, stated his intention to find a place and settle down in Australia with his Australian girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp.
During his visit to the Melbourne Cup Day at Flemington's Birdcage precinct, Foxx orchestrated a surprise for Huckstepp by flying in her family to be with her. "My girl is from Australia, and I'm bringing her whole family here as a surprise," he told the Daily Mail. "They're getting ready right now and I said, 'When the cars come, follow my lead'." He described himself as a romantic, gushing about his relationship with Huckstepp.
Foxx, who is believed to have welcomed his first child with Huckstepp, remained private about the baby's arrival but shared his positive feelings about being a father again. "I feel great as a dad. I feel young!" he said.
The actor, who previously suffered a severe health scare in April 2023, described losing 20 days of memory and being unable to walk during his recovery. His relationship with Huckstepp reportedly grew closer following this health crisis. The couple first sparked a romance in 2023, and despite a brief period where they were rumored to have split, they were seen together again in April.
Foxx is already a father to two daughters: Corinne, 32, from his relationship with Connie Kline, and Anelise, 17, from his relationship with Kristin Grannis. His attendance at the Melbourne Cup was a notable event, with Foxx arriving in a striking gold blazer and black trousers, adding a touch of Hollywood glamour to the races. He was also seen dancing with fashion entrepreneur Pip Edwards at the Don Julio Hacienda marquee.
