Russell Crowe recently showcased a significant weight loss of 26 kilograms (approximately 57 pounds) while attending the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The 62-year-old actor appeared alongside his partner, Britney Theriot, 42, at the Sala Darsena on Friday for the screening of "What Love Builds."
Crowe, dressed in a black suit with a crisp white shirt, appeared to have a slimmer frame. He has been open about his weight loss journey, previously stating on "The Joe Rogan Experience" that he weighed 126 kilograms while filming his latest movie, "Nuremberg." He now reports his weight as 100.9 kilograms.
The actor attributed part of his transformation to the health services platform Way2Well, which he stated assisted him. He mentioned receiving injections for inflammation in his shoulders and knees, as well as intravenous treatments, as part of a wellness program.
Crowe and Theriot, who have been in a relationship for six years, made their red carpet debut as a couple in October 2022 at the Rome premiere of Crowe's film "Poker Face." Their relationship began in November 2020. The couple first met in 2013 on the set of the film "Broken City."
Theriot, a native of New Orleans, is a former actress and a past cheerleader for the Saints. Crowe was previously married to Danielle Spencer, with whom he has two sons, Charles and Tennyson. They separated in 2012 and their divorce was finalized in 2018.
