Singer Raye recently shared highlights from her trip to the Montreux Jazz Festival, where she was a featured performer. The 28-year-old artist posted a series of photos on social media, documenting her time at the 60th edition of the festival in Switzerland.
Among the shared images were snapshots of Raye in swimwear, relaxing by Lake Geneva and enjoying a dip with friends. One photo showed her in a red bikini, while another featured her in a striped bikini. The singer also included behind-the-scenes clips, including one where she showcased dance moves backstage, humorously describing her mental state as reflected in the clip.
Raye's performance at Montreux marked her third consecutive appearance at the festival. For this year's event, she collaborated with producer Mark Ronson and artist Alicia Keys for a special one-night-only show. She described the Montreux Jazz Festival as "one of the greatest, if not the greatest, festival in the world."
In addition to sharing her festival experiences, Raye offered a message of encouragement to her fans. "What a dream. I'm not giving up yet, and I hope that you won't give up on your dreams either. Lots of love, Raye," she wrote.
The singer has previously spoken about her decision to limit her social media presence, noting a shift towards her faith. In April, she mentioned stepping away from Instagram and finding solace in a Bible app, crediting her Christian faith with helping her through past struggles with substance misuse.
Raye has been candid about her past issues with drugs and alcohol during her time at Polydor Records. Reflecting on her recovery, she expressed apprehension about public scrutiny, stating that being offline has been beneficial for her.
She clarified that while she maintains a private online persona, she remains committed to making a positive impression in real-life interactions, always willing to greet fans.
