During a recent Pussycat Dolls concert in Warsaw, Poland, a technical issue reportedly caused lead singer Nicole Scherzinger to be unable to perform her vocal part in the group's hit song "Buttons." The incident left bandmates Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt performing the choreography without Scherzinger's vocals, relying solely on the backing track.

Fans present at the show, which is part of the Pussycat Dolls' comeback tour, took to social media to express their bewilderment. Videos shared online showed Roberts and Wyatt continuing with the dance routine while a significant gap existed where Scherzinger's vocals should have been. Many viewers noted that neither Roberts nor Wyatt stepped in to fill the vocal absence, a move they contrasted with the potential actions of former member Melody Thornton.

Online commentary frequently mentioned Thornton's past performances, where she was known to ad-lib and take lead vocals, particularly during the song "Buttons" at the 2006 American Music Awards. Fans suggested that Thornton or another former member, Carmit Bachar, would have seized the opportunity to perform.

The "PCD Forever Tour" was originally slated to begin in the United States in June but was postponed and subsequently canceled due to low ticket sales, with arenas reportedly being 80% empty. Ticketmaster has since offered group packages for UK shows, allowing four tickets for £150.
