Paul O'Grady's widower, Andre Portasio, has relisted the late TV presenter's Edwardian mansion in Kent for £2.4 million after multiple price reductions. The seven-bedroom property, known as Knoll Hill House, has been on and off the market since O'Grady's death in March 2023.
Initially listed in September 2024 for £3.5 million, the asking price was lowered to £2.65 million in January 2025. After disappearing from the market, it has now reappeared with a further reduction and new agents, luxury property brokers Moveli.
The property, where O'Grady lived for nearly 24 years, boasts amenities including a swimming pool, a dance studio, and two guest cottages. New photographs highlight features such as a gym with framed pictures of O'Grady and his dogs, Buster and Olga, who were regulars on The Paul O'Grady Show. The dance studio, built by O'Grady for Portasio, includes a steam room and a guest suite.
Recent changes to the listing include an increase in advertised land size, from 20.62 acres to approximately 25.5 acres, with additional land available by separate negotiation. The house's floor space has also increased slightly, from 5,655 sq ft to 5,859 sq ft, and the number of reception rooms has risen from seven to eight.
The visual presentation of the property has also shifted from wide-angle shots to a more curated, interiors-magazine style. The listing now features close-ups of items like vintage champagne in the larder, a marble bathroom, and oil paintings.
O'Grady purchased the property from comedian Vic Reeves in 1999 for £650,000. Neighbors have previously expressed mixed feelings about the property's sale process, with some suggesting Portasio is attempting to "cash in" on the estate.
