Paralympian Ade Adepitan is reportedly in advanced discussions to join the upcoming series of "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!" If confirmed, Adepitan, 53, would become the first wheelchair user to participate in the show's 23-year history. ITV producers are said to be keen on Adepitan joining the cast and are exploring ways to adapt the jungle camp to ensure accessibility.

A source told The Sun that ITV bosses are "really keen to make it work" and "producers are currently looking at ways to adapt the camp to make it work for Ade." The source added that Adepitan's "infectious larger-than-life personality would make him a perfect campmate for the new series."

Ade Adepitan lost the use of his left leg in infancy after contracting polio. He gained prominence as a member of the Great Britain wheelchair basketball team, earning a bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Paralympics, before transitioning to a television career.

An ITV spokesperson told the Daily Mail that "any names suggested for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here are just speculation." However, reports suggest that other rumoured contestants for the 2026 series include Joanna Page of "Gavin and Stacey" and Olympic ice dancer Sir Christopher Dean.

"I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!" is scheduled to return later in 2026. A separate iteration, titled "I'm A Celebrity: The Wild Frontier," is slated for release next year, featuring celebrities paired to tackle challenges in the Canadian wilderness. Boyzlife singers Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden are rumored to have signed up for this version.
