WNBA players Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd revealed that they secretly ended their relationship more than a year ago. The Dallas Wings teammates made the announcement on Friday during an episode of Fudd's podcast, "Fudd Around and Find Out." Bueckers appeared as a guest on the podcast and confirmed the split.

"We are no longer together," Fudd stated during the podcast. Bueckers added that the breakup happened "over a year ago," emphasizing that they were not together before Fudd was drafted by the Dallas Wings. "So all those narratives can go to bed," Bueckers said.

Bueckers, 25, clarified that Fudd's draft status was based on merit, not their relationship. "She was not drafted because she was my girlfriend, she was drafted because she deserved it," Bueckers explained. She described Fudd as an "amazing human" and an "amazing basketball player," and stated they remain "friends" and "still cool."

Despite their past romantic relationship, Bueckers described their current dynamic as "the utmost professional." She acknowledged that they are "at different points" in their lives but continue to "support each other." Bueckers also mentioned that both she and Fudd will "eventually move on."

The pair initially confirmed their relationship in July 2025, following months of dating speculation. Bueckers had previously responded to questions about Fudd's "Paige Buckers’ girlfriend" phone case, confirming her relationship with Fudd. At the time, Bueckers also shared that Fudd often chose her sneakers for games and that she trusted Fudd with a "last-second shot" to save her life.
