The couple, who officially confirmed their romance on Instagram last month, made their red carpet debut as a couple at the event. Wicks, who was hosting the red carpet coverage alongside his friend Sam Thompson, encountered Attwood. After greeting Thompson, Attwood shared a kiss with Wicks in front of the cameras.
Thompson appeared to be the third person in the moment, cheering and laughing in the background. The official NTA Instagram account shared a clip of the kiss, captioning it: "Red carpet chemistry! @olivia_attwood and @p_wicks01 share a kiss on the #NTA2026 red carpet."
Attwood reacted to the clip on social media, stating: "Guys why was this so awkward." Fans expressed support for the couple in the comments sections of social media posts.
Earlier in the week, the couple shared affectionate images on Instagram, which Attwood captioned: "Went on a date with Pete Wicks from Towie can’t believe it he’s so hot in real life too xxxx."
Attwood and Wicks first met in 2017 and developed a friendship. Their romantic relationship began this year, following the end of Attwood's marriage to Bradley Dack. Attwood confirmed their relationship with a series of photos on Instagram, humorously stating that fans had "bullied me into hard launching."
Attwood recently discussed navigating the public attention on their relationship, telling the Daily Mail that they are "in the infancy of navigating it" and are "working as it goes." She acknowledged the interest from people who have followed them in different capacities for a long time and expressed a desire to balance openness with maintaining privacy.
She also reflected on her tendency to overshare, noting that she sometimes feels pressure to share more than necessary due to her reality television background, where cameras were often present in her home. Attwood stated she is working on reducing this pressure and not feeling a "guilt complex" when she doesn't share everything.
