Model Sahara Ray is set to be cremated on November 10, according to a death certificate obtained by Page Six. Ray passed away on October 18 at the age of 34. The location listed for final disposition is the Los Angeles residence of her mother, Gretchen Gia Bach.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed an autopsy but has yet to reveal an official cause of death, as toxicology results are still pending, TMZ reported. The death certificate confirms that Ray died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Ray's body was released to her family in late October. News of her death last month followed reports of a suspected fentanyl overdose, with the Daily Mail initially reporting that she had been placed on life support. A source told the outlet that her family made the decision to remove her from life support.

The social media personality, who was the daughter of Gretchen Gia Bach and surf legend Tony Ray, previously dated musicians Mod Sun and Justin Bieber. She welcomed her daughter, Snow, in January with Michael Bradley Dow.

Her mother, Gretchen Gia Bach, shared a tribute to her daughter on Instagram, describing the difficulty of reading tributes while staying in an Airbnb in Los Angeles after the loss. Sahara's younger sister, Ruby Ray, also posted a heartfelt message mourning her sister as "a force of nature" and "the most vivacious, intelligent, hilarious, kind, empathetic and breathtakingly beautiful soul."

Jessica Serfaty, a close friend of Ray's and an alum of "Days of Our Lives," told Page Six that Ray had been struggling with mental health challenges prior to her death. Serfaty stated that she and Ray's mother had collaborated to support Ray, organizing gatherings of her closest friends to create a "circle of love, stability, and support."

Mod Sun, who was romantically linked to Ray in 2023, remembered her as "pure magic" and "a true love of mine" in an Instagram tribute, describing her ability to make any moment artistic and vibrant.
