Meghan Markle is celebrating a first-time Emmy nomination for her Netflix lifestyle show, “With Love, Meghan,” months after its cancellation. The Duchess of Sussex shared the news on Instagram, congratulating the cast and crew.

“A huge congratulations to the amazing crew, producers, and team who worked on ‘With Love, Meghan’ on @netflix,” Markle wrote. “We are nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Series!”

The series will compete against “A Different Breed,” “George to the Rescue,” “The Motherhood,” and “The Wizard of Paws” at the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards, scheduled to broadcast live on Oct. 30.

“With Love, Meghan” premiered on Netflix in March 2025 and reimagined lifestyle programming, featuring practical advice and conversations. Over its run, the show, which included a holiday special, saw Markle share tips on cooking, gardening, and hosting from her Montecito, California home. The series ran for two seasons.

Despite some praise, the show faced criticism from some viewers, who reportedly called it “tone-deaf” and “needy.” Page Six reported in January that the show would not be renewed for a third season after the second season did not reach Netflix's Top 10 list.

Sources indicated at the time that Markle planned to focus on building her lifestyle brand, As Ever. However, two months later, Netflix ended its partnership with the brand. A Netflix spokesperson stated that while the brand was inspired by Markle's passion for elevating everyday moments, the decision was made because the show did not continue. An As Ever representative expressed gratitude for Netflix's partnership during its launch and initial year, noting the brand's growth and readiness to operate independently.

Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, originally signed a multi-year deal with Netflix in 2020, approximately nine months after stepping down as senior members of the British royal family. The initial deal was reportedly valued at $100 million.
