Matt Damon revealed that a female stunt double was responsible for the prominent bicep shots in Christopher Nolan's film "The Odyssey." Appearing on the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast, Damon, 55, stated that stunt performer Devyn Dalton stood in for him during scenes involving Laestrygonians, giants from Greek mythology.
Host Josh Horowitz had praised Damon's "greatest bicep work" seen in the film, prompting Damon to share the credit with Dalton. "My double was a woman, a female stunt performer — who had the greatest arms I’ve ever seen," Damon said.
Damon recalled meeting Dalton on set and expressing his gratitude for her work. He explained that during shots where giants appeared to loom over him, it was almost entirely Dalton's arms visible in the frame.
Damon described "The Odyssey" as the most ambitious film he has ever been cast in, likening the experience to an expedition rather than a typical movie production. The film also features actors Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Robert Pattinson.
