Lily Collins Wraps Filming for 'Emily in Paris' Final Season
Actress Lily Collins expressed a mix of emotions as she completed her final day of shooting for the upcoming sixth and final season of the popular Netflix series 'Emily in Paris'.

Lily Collins has marked her last day on set playing the titular character Emily Cooper in the Netflix hit, "Emily in Paris," after seven years. The actress shared her feelings on social media, describing the moment as "surreal and bittersweet."
In an emotional Instagram post, Collins reflected on her time with the character. "For so many years, Emily has been a part of my life, and through every season, she’s continued to surprise me, inspire me, and challenge me," she wrote. She thanked the show's creator, Darren Star, for the role and expressed gratitude to the cast and crew, calling them her "family."
Collins also extended her thanks to the show's global audience for their support over the past seven years and six seasons. "I will carry this chapter with me forever. Saying goodbye feels completely surreal and bittersweet, but mostly, I feel so incredibly proud and grateful that I got to be her. And be part of something so joyful. This has forever changed me. Au revoir, Emily Cooper…"
The streaming service previously released first-look images for the sixth and final season, which is slated for release on December 24. The images show Collins in various fashion-forward outfits, hinting at the character's signature style.
The season five cliffhanger left viewers with Emily's ex-boyfriend Gabriel, played by Lucas Bravo, sending her a postcard from Greece after discovering she was newly single. The new images also tease moments between Emily's best friend Mindy Chen, portrayed by Ashley Park, and Emily's former flame Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount.
Minnie Driver, who was previously reported to have been injured in a car accident in France, also made an appearance in the preview images, suggesting her role in the upcoming season. Her production schedule was reportedly adjusted following the accident.
The final season was filmed in Greece, with previous seasons primarily shot in Paris. The series follows Emily, a marketing executive from Chicago, as she navigates her career and romantic life in Paris, with earlier seasons also featuring storylines set in Rome and Venice.
