Helen Flanagan made a dazzling entrance at the This Is Manchester Awards on Thursday, held at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground. The Coronation Street star wore a striking green sequinned gown for the occasion, joining fellow celebrities Jenny Powell and Davinia Taylor at the event that celebrates individuals and organizations connected to Manchester.

Flanagan's appearance comes after a public spat with a traffic warden earlier in the week. She shared her frustration on TikTok, recounting an incident where she received a parking ticket. Flanagan explained that she had paid for parking but made a mistake with the vehicle registration on a courtesy car, entering a zero instead of an 'O'. She expressed her anger at the warden's actions, stating "Hell hath no fury if you get my wrath."

Her daughter was heard expressing fear about being taken by the police during the altercation. Flanagan joked about the situation, suggesting she might have been arrested. She described the traffic warden as "the most horrible man I've ever met" and believed he was being unnecessarily harsh given the circumstances.

This incident follows a previous driving-related issue for Flanagan, who was banned from driving for six months in January 2025 after her then-boyfriend was caught speeding twice in her Audi Q7. At the time, she had argued that the ban would cause financial hardship and difficulties in taking her children to school.
