Lila Moss, daughter of supermodel Kate Moss, has reportedly experienced a lack of camaraderie from other models, often finding herself alone at fashion events. Sources suggest this isolation stems from her "nepo-baby" status within the modeling industry.
Moss, 23, is establishing her career independently, aiming to achieve success without relying on her mother's fame or preferential treatment. A source told The Sun that while her lineage has opened doors, Moss insists on making her own mark. This approach has led to what is described as "vile and icy treatment" from some peers, with many reportedly giving her the "cold shoulder or totally ignore her altogether."
"There have been many times over the years where backstage she is left all on her own," the source added.
Moss, whose father is magazine editor Jefferson Hack, made her runway debut in 2020, opening and closing the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2021 show. She has since appeared in campaigns for luxury brands such as Gucci, Fendi, Marc Jacobs Beauty, and YSL Beauty. Her mother, Kate Moss, reportedly discouraged her from pursuing a modeling career, fearing she might fall into similar "traps" in the industry.
Moss has also spoken about raiding her mother's wardrobe, admitting she visits Kate's closet at least once a week, though she acknowledges certain vintage items are kept off-limits.
