The final batch of tickets for LaplandUK, a highly anticipated Christmas attraction, went on sale today, September 11, 2026. The immersive event, which takes place in Manchester and Ascot, is known for its popularity, often attracting high-profile guests and resulting in significant demand.
Last year, the virtual queue for LaplandUK saw a record 750,000 participants, with tickets selling out within hours. This year's event is scheduled to run from November 7 to December 24.
Prices for the experience range from £60 to £155 per child. Weekend tickets in December are at the higher end of this scale, potentially costing a family of four as much as £600. Those who secure bookings will receive personalized invitations.
LaplandUK aims to recreate the story of Father Christmas in an Arctic setting. The attraction features 31 characters brought to life by West End performers and elaborate production. Guests journey through woodland into a winter landscape populated by elves, an ice rink, and themed areas like the Lapland Bakery and Toy Factory.
Children can participate in activities such as creating reindeer food with the elves. This year's event offers visitors more time to explore attractions like ice skating and letter writing, with an increased sense of freedom within the experience.
Since its inception in 2007, LaplandUK has welcomed over one million families and was recognized as the UK's best tourist attraction in 2022. Last year alone, visitors came from 55 different countries.
