Kelly Clarkson has embraced a new look, debuting a chin-length bob haircut as she transitions into a new phase following the conclusion of her seven-season talk show, "The Kelly Clarkson Show." The singer showcased her updated hairstyle during promotional appearances on Monday.
Clarkson appeared on NBC's "Today" show and later on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," both times sporting her new, shorter hair. For her "Today" appearance, she chose a trench coat dress paired with booties and sheer black tights. Her "Late Night" outfit consisted of a long-sleeved black minidress, heels, and sheer black tights.
During her "Late Night" interview, host Seth Meyers immediately commented on her new hairstyle, noting the absence of extensions. Clarkson confirmed she had recently cut her hair and expressed her liking for the shorter style. She also referenced a moment from "The Voice" premiere earlier that day, where she removed a clip-in extension on national television and offered it to a contestant to help win her over.
"The Kelly Clarkson Show" aired its final episode on August 31, concluding a seven-season run. The finale also featured Clarkson's final "Kellyoke" performance, a cover of "Golden" from "K-Pop Demon Hunters," which garnered significant attention. Clarkson described the performance as challenging but rewarding, noting the extensive practice involved.
