Kaya Scodelario has offered fans a look behind the scenes of the upcoming second season of Guy Ritchie's crime drama, 'The Gentlemen.' The actress, who reprises her role as the stylish Susie Glass, shared a series of images on Instagram showcasing moments from the set.
In one photo, Scodelario is seen in thigh-high boots, posing alongside co-star Tyler Conti, who plays Joe Green. Another image captures her smiling with principal standby Lorna Cook and Maya Jama, 32, who makes her acting debut in the series as Aisha, the girlfriend of Eddie Horniman.
Scodelario, 34, also shared snaps of herself with the hair and makeup team, enjoying pizza on the beach, and interacting with 'The Gentlemen'-themed cupcakes. She also appeared in a plunging white dress with a large red fascinator in another set of photos.
These behind-the-scenes glimpses follow the star-studded premiere of 'The Gentlemen' season two, which recently took place at the Guildhall Art Gallery in London. Both Scodelario and Jama were in attendance, with Scodelario opting for a custom Paolo Sebastian corset gown and Jama wearing a custom leather gown.
Scodelario, who plays the daughter of a mobster leading a cannabis empire, recently shared that she had messaged Jama to offer advice before her acting debut. "Be ready to be on your toes and trust the process," Scodelario advised Jama, drawing on her own experiences as an actress from a working-class background.
Guy Ritchie's Netflix series, an extension of the 2019 film, centers on Eddie Horniman, who inherits his father's estate and discovers it's the hub of a large cannabis operation. Season two is set a year after Eddie and Susie joined forces to manage the criminal enterprise. The new season explores the evolving dynamics as they navigate decisions made by kingpin Bobby, facing choices about aligning with his plans or forging their own path.
