Katie Price is set to revisit and potentially reignite her past feud with Victoria Beckham in her forthcoming Sky documentary series, "Katie Price: Nothing To Hide." The four-part series, produced by Louis Theroux's Mindhouse production company, is expected to explore Price's transformation into her alter-ego Jordan, as well as her numerous relationships and marriages.
Sources close to the production indicate that Price does not hold back when discussing her history with Beckham. The rivalry dates back to the late 1990s and early 2000s when both women were prominent figures in the public eye, their then-partners David Beckham and Dwight Yorke playing for Manchester United. The antipathy reportedly intensified when Victoria Beckham released a single, "Out Of Your Mind," with Dane Bowers, who was then dating Katie Price.
Price is said to reveal feelings of envy towards Beckham during that period, recalling how she felt banned from attending events with Bowers and Beckham. "They met at Old Trafford and then Victoria started working with Dane, who was dating Katie. It was all very toxic," a source told the Daily Mail. "She admits she was jealous of Victoria. Katie and Dane had a tempestuous relationship and Victoria, who Dane idolized, was at his side as they made their record together."
According to reports, the animosity between the two was so strong that Beckham once sang the Baha Men's hit "Who Let The Dogs Out" at Price in the Manchester United players' lounge. "To make matters worse, they hated one another," a source added. "So much so that more than a year after the Dane fall-out, Victoria sang to Katie in the Old Trafford players' lounge."
The documentary is also expected to cover Price's extensive romantic history, including her relationships with Dwight Yorke, the father of her eldest son Harvey, Teddy Sheringham, Peter Andre, Alex Reid, Kieran Hayler, and her current husband, Carl Woods. While Harvey is anticipated to appear, Price's children with Peter Andre, Junior and Princess, are not expected to be featured. Price has reportedly given producers full editorial control, allowing them to speak with anyone, though many of her former partners declined to participate.
One notable confession highlighted in the series involves Price's past relationship with Dane Bowers. She claims to have suspected him of cheating and once let herself into his house to catch him, only to find he wasn't there. In her anger, she reportedly stole his trainers. Price also admits to being a "bunny boiler" during her relationship with Bowers, who she says ended their two-year relationship after she agreed to do a calendar shoot, something he disliked.
Price's decision to address the rivalry with Beckham and other past relationships in her documentary suggests a willingness to confront and revisit moments from her public life. The series is scheduled for release on July 8.
