Katie Price has stated that her marriage to Lee Andrews is the "healthiest" relationship she has experienced, attributing this to his financial independence and lack of reliance on her.

Speaking on Josh Smith's Great Chat Show podcast, Price, 48, discussed her relationship ahead of the release of a new Sky docuseries chronicling her life and past romances. She married Andrews, described as a Dubai-based businessman, earlier this year after a brief courtship. Andrews has since faced legal issues, having been arrested and imprisoned for fraud, a situation Price has publicly stood by.

Price explained her perspective on the relationship, stating, "I know you're not going to think it, but the one I'm in now is the healthiest relationship I've been in. I don't need Lee, I want Lee, and there's a massive difference." She highlighted his personal success and intelligence, noting, "He's got his own thing going on, he's very intelligent, and he's older, whereas I've always gone for younger."

She elaborated on her comfort within the relationship, stating, "I'm comfy, he's not in and out of my pockets." Price contrasted this with previous relationships where she felt men were overly dependent, comparing them to "puppy dogs" or "my sixth child." She added that Andrews "sees me as me, not a product, and he doesn't take any s**t, and I love that."

Price, who has been married four times and engaged nine times, revealed she underwent relationship therapy two years prior to address patterns of toxic, controlling, and abusive relationships. "All of them have been like that," she said. "So I did relationship therapy and I always needed a man. Nowadays I don't need a man. If I want a man, it's because I want them, not because I need them."

During the podcast, Price also reflected on her past relationship with pop star Gareth Gates, who appears in her new docuseries. Their relationship occurred in 2002 when Price was 23 and pregnant with her son Harvey, and Gates was 17. Price admitted to selling the story of their romance at the time, an action she now regrets.

"That was 25 years ago [Gareth Gates] and he's never done an interview about us, never ever," Price stated. "So when I found out they had [interviewed him for the documentary], I was like, 'what did he say about me?' I was so intrigued."

She expressed that she has learned the reason Gates
