Katie Price has stated that she has spent approximately £40,000 of her own money on cosmetic procedures, despite undergoing an estimated 40 surgeries over the years. The former glamour model, 48, discussed her extensive history with plastic surgery, which includes procedures such as six facelifts, 17 breast augmentations, dental work, and a fox eye operation. The total estimated cost of these procedures likely exceeds £100,000.
Price shared these details during an appearance on the ITV series "Price Of Perfection," which explores the world of celebrity cosmetic surgery and features interviews with Olivia Attwood. Price indicated that she has received many of these procedures for free due to her fame. "I've probably paid £40,000 all in," Price told Attwood, who expressed surprise at the figure.
Price also reflected on her family's concerns regarding her numerous surgeries. She stated that while she has often been told she does not need further procedures, she pursues them if she desires. However, she now listens to surgeons more carefully, expressing a desire to avoid looking unnatural. "There have been times where I've thought 'Kate, people are not looking at you because you look good, they're looking because you look like a f****** alien or puffer fish,'" she recalled.
Her mother, Amy Price, has publicly voiced concerns about her daughter's surgeries and in 2023 suggested Katie was experiencing body dysmorphia. Katie Price acknowledged that she has come to realize she does have body dysmorphia, explaining that she frequently looks in the mirror and dislikes what she sees, prompting a desire for change. She stated a goal of feeling happy with her appearance but admitted she is not currently there.
Price expressed a desire to know what she would have looked like if she had never undergone surgery, a possibility she will never know.
