Kaia Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, recently appeared in Givenchy's winter 2026 campaign, drawing comparisons to her mother's iconic looks. In the campaign, photographed in Croatia, Gerber is featured in a black cut-out bodysuit and floral thigh-high boots, a style that echoes Crawford's 1992 "Shape Of Your Body" fitness video.
The campaign was helmed by Sarah Burton, Givenchy's creative director, known for designing Catherine Middleton's wedding dress. Gerber, 24, whose father is businessman Rande Gerber, has spoken about the challenges of being a "nepo baby," often being compared to her renowned mother. She has expressed admiration for her mother's physique, stating, "I'm so jealous of mom's body. I would have loved to be born with boobs and a butt."
Despite her claims of inheriting her father's body type, Gerber has also paid homage to Crawford's fashion legacy. Last year, she recreated one of her mother's most famous outfits, a white Hervé Léger bandage dress worn by Crawford to the Oscars three decades prior. Gerber wore the dress to the premiere of her film "Shell" last September, complete with similar styling, including dangling earrings, a diamond necklace, and white heels.
She noted the striking difference in their figures when wearing the dress, remarking that her mother "has these beautiful boobs and a butt, and I was given my father’s body, which I’m grateful for, but it’s giving something different."
Beyond physical resemblance and fashion recreation, Gerber has absorbed fashion wisdom from her mother. She cited the iconic Versace "Freedom! '90" runway show, featuring Crawford alongside other supermodels, as a formative image. Crawford's advice, "less is more—like, before you leave the house take one thing off," has also influenced Gerber's style. She admitted to borrowing items from her mother's wardrobe, including a black leather Alaïa coat, though she lamented their differing shoe sizes.
