Jennifer Aniston's inner circle is reportedly split over her relationship with boyfriend Jim Curtis, with some friends expressing concerns about his intentions.
According to a source who spoke with Page Six, "Some of Jen’s friends aren’t totally sold on Jim yet." These friends reportedly worry that Curtis "could be an opportunist and feel like he can come off a bit performative." They added, "Some of them are just having a difficult time fully trusting him right now." These individuals are protective of Aniston, emphasizing that while they want her happiness, they don't want to see her "taken advantage of."
However, not all of Aniston's friends share these reservations. A second insider told Page Six that others in her circle "absolutely adore Jim and feel like he fits in seamlessly with their circle of friends." This group believes that "Jen and Jim complement each other on so many levels" and "haven’t seen Jen this happy in a long time." They "couldn’t be happier for her" and wish the couple "nothing but the best."
Aniston, 57, and Curtis, 50, a hypnotist and transformational coach, sparked romance rumors in July 2025 after being photographed on vacation together in Mallorca, Spain. Aniston made their relationship Instagram-official in November 2025, sharing a photo and calling Curtis "very special, very normal and very kind."
The couple has recently become more public with their relationship. On Wednesday, Aniston joined Curtis onstage at New York City's 92nd Street Y for an event promoting his new book, "The Book of Possibility." During the interview, Curtis shared details about serious health struggles he faced in his 20s, including partial paralysis and chronic nerve pain due to spinal cord lesions.
Aniston also made lighthearted remarks during the event, joking about her past experiences with dodgeball and playfully teasing Curtis about embarrassing him. When asked if she had, Curtis responded, "A lot."
