Jasmine Stefanovic has given a first look inside the luxury Sydney home she is building with husband Karl. The shoe designer shared a photograph on Instagram Stories of the unfinished dramatic entrance at the couple's Castlecrag property.

'Entrance way looking amazing,' Stefanovic, 42, captioned the image, adding celebratory emojis. The striking space features walls clad in cream, sandy beige, and grey stone blocks, beneath a smooth, curved ceiling. An oversized circular opening overhead floods the space with natural light, drawing attention to a stone fountain directly below, mirroring the curves of the ceiling and walls.

The image also revealed the property is still a work in progress, with a ladder, buckets, building materials, and rubble visible on the unfinished concrete floor. Blue protective coverings framed a doorway leading further inside.

This update marks a significant milestone for the couple's reported $4.5 million rebuild, which has been subject to a lengthy planning process and objections from neighbors. Karl and Jasmine purchased the property on Sydney's lower north shore for $3.2 million in 2021. The block was previously occupied by a 1960s brick home, which was demolished to make way for their new residence.

Karl first lodged a development application with Willoughby Council in March 2023, with neighbors raising concerns about potential loss of views and reflections from solar panels. The couple's plans subsequently went through court proceedings and revisions. A modified design approved in April 2025 included four bedrooms, a pool, a spa, an alfresco dining area, and a double garage. Earlier architectural impressions showed a contemporary home with expansive windows, high ceilings, and an outdoor entertaining terrace.

Jasmine had previously expressed enthusiasm for the project on social media, commenting on a design image shared by architectural firm Studio Kennon, 'Can we have it nowwwww,' while Karl responded with a love heart emoji. The couple married in December 2018 and share a daughter, Harper. Karl also has three older children from his previous marriage.
