Reality television personality Jack Fincham has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of drug-driving following a car crash in Sidcup, south-east London. According to reports, Fincham crashed his Audi TT into a brick wall, damaging two trees, and allegedly attempted to flee the scene.
This incident occurs less than a year after Fincham completed a 10-month stint at a rehabilitation center, reportedly costing £32,000, to address his struggles with addiction. He had previously received an 18-month suspended sentence in 2024 for offenses including driving under the influence of cocaine, speeding, and using false number plates.
Sources close to Fincham confirmed to The Sun that he was interviewed at a police station on October 26. They stated he had not been charged and has remained "sober and drug free" since the alleged crash on September 20. A representative for Fincham also indicated he has been working to "get his life back on track" and expressed remorse.
In April, Fincham appeared in court after failing to complete community service due to his time in rehab. At that time, his suspended sentence was extended by three months due to dangerous dog offenses after his Cane Corso attacked a runner. He was subsequently fined and ordered to pay court costs, having stated he had secured a new role in "office supplies and stationery" with a £40,000 salary.
Fincham previously spoke about his rehabilitation, detailing a detox from prescription drugs and the subsequent challenge of confronting his emotions. He described his addiction as having "spiraled out of control" and leading him to use drugs and alcohol to suppress feelings.
His prior legal troubles include a stop in August 2023, where police observed him driving on the A2. A drug wipe tested positive for cocaine. At that time, he admitted to driving without insurance, driving under the influence of cocaine, driving without due care and attention, and fraudulent use of registration plates. He received a 12-week suspended sentence for these offenses, reduced from 16 weeks due to an early admission.
Following his court appearances, Fincham had shared on Instagram his intention to "start again" and pursue acting roles and television work, stating he had overcome his "last hurdle" and was taking accountability for past mistakes.
