Paramount+ is set to release A24's new comedy series, It Gets Worse, on November 6, 2026. Created by and starring comedian Leo Reich, the six-episode show centers on three university friends struggling to find their footing in London a year after moving there together.
The series, which has already premiered in the UK on Channel 4 on October 22, 2026, explores themes of disappointment in careers and relationships, and the general anxieties of early adulthood. The narrative becomes more complex when the characters face eviction from their shared flat, forcing them to pursue diverging paths.
Reich stars as Ethan, a character who is unemployed and resistant to moving back home. He is joined by Emily Fairn as Abi and Olive Gray as Sam. Other cast members include Sean Delaney as Tom, India Mullen as Zara, Dane Williams as Aaron, and John Tothill as Leon. The series also features guest appearances from Andrew Scott, Lena Dunham, and Amelia Dimoldenberg. Zadie Smith provides narration for the show.
Viewers in the U.S. will be able to stream all episodes of It Gets Worse exclusively on Paramount+'s Premium plan. The streaming service offers two subscription tiers: Essential, which is ad-supported and costs $8.99 per month, and Premium, which is ad-free and includes Showtime titles and live CBS programming for $13.99 per month. Paramount+ is currently offering a seven-day free trial for the Premium plan.
