Irina Shayk made a striking fashion statement at the 2026 Venice Film Festival, appearing at the premiere of “The Echo Chamber” in a dramatic lace-up gown by Dolce & Gabbana. The 40-year-old model selected a piece from the brand's spring/summer 2023 collection, a collaboration curated by Kim Kardashian.
The daring dress featured prominent cutouts on both sides, held together by intricate lacing. Shayk paired the gown with black satin briefs, thigh-high socks, and pointed-toe satin stilettos. To complete the look, she accessorized with a sparkling crystal mesh choker.
The design is a reinterpretation of an iconic Dolce & Gabbana look, originally modeled by Gisele Bündchen in 2003. Shayk herself acknowledged the significance of the ensemble, sharing on Instagram that it was "a piece of fashion history brought back to life."
Earlier in the day, Shayk was seen at the festival in a different vintage ensemble: a heavily beaded cropped jacket and pleated trousers from Givenchy's 2015 collection, designed by Riccardo Tisci. Shayk expressed her gratitude on Instagram for wearing the couture piece, calling it "extraordinary" and noting that it made her feel "incredible."
The Venice Film Festival, which runs through September 12, has drawn numerous celebrities, including George and Amal Clooney, Laura Dern, Robert Pattinson, Kendall Jenner, Vittoria Ceretti, and Stella Maxwell.
