A collection of rare private photographs capturing intimate moments of Elvis and Priscilla Presley's 1967 wedding and their early family life is set to be auctioned by Danish auction house Bruun Rasmussen. The lot includes an album with 30 black and white silver gelatine prints from the couple's Las Vegas ceremony and three private color snapshots from Graceland, dating to the summer of 1968.

These color photographs, described as likely one-of-a-kind, depict Elvis and Priscilla with their infant daughter, Lisa Marie, who was born in February 1968. One of the color snapshots bears a handwritten note on the reverse that reads, 'Elvis going fast to scare mother,' written in black ballpoint pen. Another image shows the couple interacting with baby Lisa Marie at their Graceland estate.

The photographs were originally gifted to Priscilla's mother, Anna, and her stepfather, U.S. Air Force Captain Joseph Beaulieu, to commemorate their wedding. The album has since been passed down through the Beaulieu family. The collection is estimated to be valued at $15,000.

Elvis Presley and Priscilla Beaulieu met in September 1959 when she was 14 and he was 24, while stationed at Wiesbaden Air Base in Germany. Priscilla's parents permitted her to move to Graceland in 1963 when she was 17. The couple married on May 1, 1967, at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, and divorced in 1972. The wedding album includes images of the couple exchanging rings and cutting their cake.

Ludvig Hjorth, a specialist at Bruun Rasmussen, described the collection as extraordinary documentation of the iconic couple's life. The front cover of the album features gold lettering with the wedding date and is signed, 'From the Colonel,' referring to Elvis's controversial manager, Tom Parker. It is believed that approximately 10 similar black and white albums were distributed.

The auction commenced on Monday at 7:50 p.m. local time in Denmark. Priscilla Presley, now 81, has remained active, recently attending events in Los Angeles and visiting the Elvis Presley Museum in Denmark in March. Her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, died in January 2023 at the age of 54. Priscilla also has a son, Navarone Garibaldi Garcia.
