Harry Styles was joined by a surprise guest, his older sister Gemma, during the final show of his record-breaking 12-night residency at London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Gemma Styles, 35, took to the stage to deliver an emotional tribute to her brother, who appeared visibly moved. "I don't think of you as this at all in day-to-day life. I think of you as a brother and an uncle and a best friend," Gemma told the 80,000 fans in attendance. "And seeing the incredible community that has formed around you is just indescribable, really."

She recalled dropping a 16-year-old Harry at his first audition for The X Factor at Wembley Arena, where the band One Direction was formed. "I left you over the wall somewhere over there and awkwardly backed away and thought 'are you going to be able to handle this small person?' And now we're here," she said, pointing out how far he had come. "I'm so proud of you. And not just because of this. I'm proud of who you are, and who you allow other people to be, and the impact you've made on so many, not least on the ones who get to love you… what a life-long privilege that is. Thank you for being you," she added.

The siblings shared a hug before Harry continued his performance. The concert also featured an emotional tribute to One Direction, with Liam Payne's parents, Geoff and Karen Payne, and his sister Ruth, along with his young nephew, in the audience. "I wouldn't be here tonight without four friends of mine. I want to thank Niall, Louis, Zayn, and my dear friend, Liam!" Styles told the crowd.

One Direction, formed on The X Factor in 2010, became one of the biggest pop acts in history before announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2016. Liam Payne tragically died in October 2024 at the age of 31.

Styles has been touring in support of his fourth studio album, "Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally." His 12-night run at Wembley marked the longest residency by a solo artist at the venue. Throughout the residency, country music star Shania Twain served as the support act. Fans were treated to a setlist of hits including "Golden," "Adore You," and "Music For A Sushi Restaurant," alongside new tracks. The residency received rave reviews, with critics highlighting Styles' evolution as a global pop star since his days in One Direction.

Styles is scheduled for a seven-city global residency called "Together, Together," with 50 stops planned in Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York City, Melbourne, and Sydney from May through December 2026. His New York City dates alone will include 30 nights at Madison Square Garden.
