Eric Dane's memoir, "My Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments," is now available, eight months after the actor's death from ALS at age 53. The book, which Dane began writing following his 2023 diagnosis, was completed before his passing on February 19, 2026.
The audiobook version is narrated by Jacob Elordi, Dane's on-screen son from the HBO series "Euphoria," where they played Cal and Nate Jacobs. Elordi also lent his voice to the audiobook of Dane's "Euphoria" co-star, Sydney Sweeney's, book.
"My Book of Days" spans Dane's career, detailing defining experiences and emotional truths through a series of "days." The memoir touches on his early Hollywood years, his journey to sobriety, and his life-changing ALS diagnosis. According to the book's synopsis, Dane also reflected on "future days" that would follow his death, intended for his daughters, Billie, 16, and Georgia, 15, to read and remember.
Maria Shriver, whose imprint The Open Field is publishing the memoir, also contributes her voice to the audiobook. Shriver stated that Dane wanted his family to know how much he loved them and to leave them a story they could be proud of.
The audiobook is available on Audible, and new subscribers can receive a one-month free trial of Premium Plus, which includes one credit for any audiobook in their catalog. The book will remain accessible even if the subscription is canceled.
