Zion Foster, ex-partner of singer Jesy Nelson, has publicly confirmed his new relationship with a woman known as Sav. Foster shared a montage of clips on Instagram, declaring, "It’s crazy how so many people are triggered seeing me happy." This move comes after months of reportedly dating Sav in secret.
Foster and Nelson split earlier this year, a period that coincided with Nelson announcing their twins, Ocean and Story, were diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 (SMA). Foster had previously "soft launched" his relationship with Sav on Instagram by captioning a post with "+1" during a holiday in Portugal, with both individuals later updating their profile pictures to solo shots from the same trip. Sav also shared a photo of matching tattoos of a Chinese symbol that translates to "love."
Meanwhile, Jesy Nelson has also moved on with her own new relationship, introducing her boyfriend Ben Davies at the National Television Awards. She later shared the first photo of Davies on her Instagram page in late August, showing him driving a Range Rover while holding her hand.
Nelson recently spoke about her split from Foster in her Amazon Prime documentary, describing the situation as a "traumatic thing that we've both been through." She explained that while they initially tried to be a team to support their children, they found themselves "clashing" due to dealing with the SMA diagnosis differently. Nelson stated that she decided they would be better off apart, emphasizing that her main priority is her children and maintaining positive energy for them.
SMA is a rare muscle-wasting condition that can affect a child's ability to sit, crawl, or walk, and in severe cases, can impact breathing and swallowing. Early treatment can significantly improve outcomes for affected children, with testing typically done shortly after birth via a heel prick blood sample. Nelson expressed pride that her daughters' story has contributed to advocacy for change regarding SMA treatment.
