Disney is expanding access to its biennial D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event by livestreaming a selection of panels and ceremonies on Disney+ for the first time. The event, held in Anaheim from August 14-16, 2026, will allow fans at home to tune into various presentations.
Scheduled livestreams include the "Beauty and the Beast: A Tale as Old as Time 35th Anniversary Celebration" on August 14, the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Season 3 Panel" and "Disney Rewind Encore Concert" on August 15, and the "Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase" also on August 15. The "Disney Worldbuilders Panel," featuring notable figures like Jon Favreau and Kevin Feige, is set for August 16, followed by the "Disney Legends Awards Ceremony."
Fans can watch these events with a Disney+ subscription. Pricing for the service starts at $11.99 per month with ads, or $18.99 per month without ads. Bundles including Disney+ with Hulu, Max, or ESPN+ are also available, offering savings of over 40%.
For attendees in Anaheim, the "Disney+ Hulu Experience" at the Anaheim Convention Center will feature a 4D theater, a pin quest, and photo opportunities inspired by shows such as "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" and "The Simpsons." Exclusive merchandise, including pins and trading cards from franchises like "The X-Files" and "Grey's Anatomy," will be available. Additionally, a "Disney+ Perks Treat Truck" will offer themed donuts and collectible patches in the Downtown Disney District.
Exclusive to D23 attendees, a "Disney+ Perks Member Mixer" is scheduled for Saturday morning, offering a "Throwbacks" themed breakfast. Meanwhile, the "Disney+ Hulu Throwbacks Dance Party" will take place on Thursday, August 13, in Disneyland's Tomorrowland Terrace.
Animation fans can visit the Downtown Disney District for the "Hulu Animayhem" celebration, featuring limited-time menu items inspired by "Futurama," "King of the Hill," and "Bob's Burgers," along with chalk art installations.
Fans unable to attend in person can also access digital perks, including a commemorative digital pin from Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs starting August 14 for eligible subscribers.
