Dean Norris, known for his role as Hank Schrader in "Breaking Bad," and his estranged wife, Bridget, were observed smiling and appearing in good spirits as they departed from Los Angeles International Airport on Friday. The couple is currently navigating a high-profile divorce, a $1.8 million bankruptcy for their restaurant, Swing Inn Cafe, and the recent listing of their 11-acre estate for nearly $3.2 million.
Despite the significant challenges, Norris indicated to photographers that he remains committed to salvaging both his marriage and the restaurant. "Of course," he replied when asked if he was keen to mend the marriage, according to TMZ. He also stated that their diner is "already saved."
Bridget Norris filed for divorce on Valentine's Day last year, citing irreconcilable differences after 23 years of marriage. While Dean responded to the petition three months later, the divorce has yet to be finalized. In September, court documents revealed the couple's application for Chapter 11 bankruptcy for their Texas-style barbecue restaurant. The business reported liabilities of over $1.8 million against assets of approximately $147,000. Norris cited a $1 million decline in gross revenue between 2024 and 2025 as a factor in the financial struggles.
The couple is selling their 7,000-square-foot mansion in Temecula for $3,199,267. They purchased the property in 2024 for $1,725,000 and it features nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a guesthouse, pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, and a horse barn.
Bridget is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their two minor children, Zoe, 17, and Dean Jr., 16. The couple has five children in total.
In other news, Norris recently mourned the loss of "Breaking Bad" co-star RJ Mitte, who died by suicide at the age of 34. Norris expressed his heartbreak on social media, remembering Mitte as a "sweetheart of a young man."
