Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc has spoken about the joy of becoming a father after welcoming his first child, Bianca, with his wife Alexandra Saint Mleux. Leclerc described the experience as the "most special thing ever" and stated that the past week has been "incredible" and one he will "forever remember for all the positive reasons."

Bianca was born on November 3rd, 2026, according to a joint social media announcement from the couple. They shared a photo of their newborn daughter's legs and feet, captioned "Bianca. 3.11.26."

Leclerc, 29, returned to Monaco after the Mexican Grand Prix to be present for the birth. He shared his thoughts on his new role as a father at the Brazilian Grand Prix, noting that he had always wanted to be a young dad and felt it was the right time with Alexandra.

The couple married in Monaco in February, with their miniature dachshund, Leo, in attendance. Following the wedding, Leclerc shared a video detailing moments from the ceremony, including his wife's dress and the exchange of rings. The newlyweds departed in a vintage 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, a vehicle valued at approximately £9 million.

Leclerc had previously expressed his desire to start a family while continuing his racing career. He told reporters last year, "I have more personal aspirations, like starting a family, which I can achieve by continuing to chase the world title."

Alexandra, a 25-year-old art historian, is often seen with Leclerc and their dog Leo at Formula One events. Their presence in the paddock has drawn commentary, with former driver David Coulthard suggesting in September that Leclerc might be doing "too much" with his family commitments at Grand Prix weekends.
