Cardi B marked her son Grey's first birthday by sharing the first photos of the toddler and revealing his name. The rapper celebrated the occasion with a dazzling display of custom diamond jewelry and a luxurious Hermès handbag.
Grey, Cardi B's fourth child and first with Stefon Diggs, was the focus of the celebration. Cardi B donned a monochromatic gray ensemble, complete with a silver wig, a heather gray tank top, and an abundance of jewels. Her wrists were adorned with a stack of custom diamond bracelets from jeweler Elliot Eliantte, each inscribed with one of her children's names. These were layered with two diamond tennis bracelets.
Around her neck, Cardi B wore a trio of diamond necklaces, including a piece spelling out "Grey," a tennis choker, and a lariat-style necklace featuring large emerald-cut diamonds. Her fingers were also embellished with two large, pear-shaped diamond rings, and she sported a diamond-encrusted Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch. To complete the ensemble, she held a gray crocodile Hermès Kelly Cut purse, valued at approximately $70,000 on the resale market.
Cardi B also shared a heartfelt message on Instagram for her son. "It’s only been 1 year since meeting you but it feels like I’ve had you at my side forever," she wrote. "You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like. You light up my life and every room with your smile your laugh and your precious spirit."
This is not the first time the rapper has used custom jewelry to announce a baby's name. She previously revealed her third child's name, Blossom, with a similar diamond bracelet.
Cardi B shares three other children—Kulture, Wave, and Blossom—with ex-husband Offset. She announced her pregnancy with Diggs' baby in September 2025, and the couple experienced a complicated breakup in February 2026 before a brief reconciliation.
