Brooklyn Beckham offered his support to wife Nicola Peltz on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival, even stepping in to style her hair during a screening. The couple attended a viewing for the film "It Will Happen Tonight" shortly after Peltz received her 'Rising Star' award.
Beckham, 27, turned stylist as he smoothed Peltz's hair, ensuring she looked her best. Peltz, 31, smiled as her husband doted on her during her moment in the spotlight. She wore a cut-out cobalt blue Balenciaga couture gown, while Beckham sported a black tuxedo. He also displayed a "Nicola" hand tattoo. Beckham further showed his pride by kissing Peltz on the cheek and wrapping an arm around her waist.
Earlier, Peltz accepted her award at the Casa Cinema Giovani. She appeared visibly nervous as she accepted the accolade, thanking her husband and family, stating they were the reason she could "reach to the stars." Her father, Nelson Peltz, mother Claudia, and brother Bradley were present. Peltz acknowledged her "Prima" co-star Faye Dunaway, who received a lifetime achievement award at the same ceremony, calling Dunaway an inspiration.
Peltz began her acting career at age 11 and has appeared in films such as "Deck the Halls," "The Last Airbender," and "Transformers: Age of Extinction." More recently, she has focused on writing and producing films through her label, Bunny Films. Her last film, "Lola," had limited distribution.
She married Brooklyn Beckham, son of David and Victoria Beckham, in April 2022. Peltz has been navigating a family feud, which has led to her husband reportedly distancing himself from his family. Beckham explained in January on Instagram that attempts had been made to separate him from his wife.
Peltz has been working on her independent drama "Prima," which does not yet have an official release date. The film also features Jack Huston, Mira Sorvino, and Betty Gabriel, and is directed by the Morelli Brothers. Peltz stars as a prima ballerina facing difficult decisions.
"Prima" has also drawn attention due to Peltz's significant weight loss in preparation for her role. She underwent four months of intense ballerina training, losing weight to embody her character. This past week, Brooklyn Beckham defended his wife online when a follower commented on her appearance, stating, "Don't ever talk about my wife. She's absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman's body. It's disgraceful."
