Brooklyn Beckham demonstrated his support for wife Nicola Peltz at the Venice Film Festival, where she was honored with a Rising Star award. Beckham assisted Peltz throughout the event, which included acting as a personal hair stylist and carefully managing the train of her Balenciaga gown.
The couple attended the Kineo Awards, held as part of the festival, where Peltz received recognition for her work as an actress, producer, and filmmaker. Peltz wore an emerald and diamond drop earrings with a full-length black dress for the occasion. She expressed gratitude to her family, including Beckham, stating they are her "everything" and the reason she can "reach to the stars."
Beckham was seen guiding Peltz as she accepted her award and was later documented gathering the cobalt blue Balenciaga gown's train as they returned to their hotel after the premiere of "It Will Happen Tonight." Video footage captured Beckham assisting Peltz with her dress to prevent it from dragging on the ground.
Peltz, who began her acting career in 2006, also recently wrote and produced films through her label, Bunny Films. Her latest independent drama, "Prima," which also features Faye Dunaway, Jack Huston, Mira Sorvino, and Betty Gabriel, does not yet have an official release date. Peltz stars as a prima ballerina in the film and underwent significant physical preparation, including four months of intensive training and a strict diet, which led to a reported weight loss of nearly 50 pounds.
Earlier in the week, Beckham publicly defended Peltz regarding comments about her appearance. In response to an Instagram user's remark about her looking "sickly," Beckham wrote, "Don't ever talk about my wife. She's absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman's body. It's disgraceful."
Nelson Peltz, Nicola's father and a prominent business leader, was present at the awards ceremony with Peltz's mother, Claudia, and brother, Bradley, to support her. Faye Dunaway was also honored with a lifetime achievement award at the same ceremony.
