Britney Spears took to social media on Sunday to share a series of emotional posts, detailing alleged mistreatment by her sons, ex-husband Kevin Federline, and her sister Jamie Lynn. The posts, which have since been deleted, also included Spears, 44, showcasing her dancing in a black lingerie bodysuit.
In one post, Spears recalled an incident where she believed her sons, Sean, 21, and Jayden, 20, lied about needing glasses during an eye check-up six years ago. "They didn't even need glasses," Spears wrote, "so they lied, and of course, I believe, and always wondered don't they want a cool pair for school???"
She also shared that she has chosen to keep her "blurry vision" due to past hurts, stating, "I'd rather feel so I'm learning Braille at the moment and how to learn to trust again and remember intimacy as well!!! Real abusive relationships can destroy a woman's heart."
Following this, Spears posted another message vowing to "find a new family," naming Jamie Lynn and Kevin Federline among those who had wronged her. She recounted specific incidents, including her sister Jamie Lynn allegedly not allowing her to hold her daughter during visits and Federline purportedly denying her access to a bathroom when picking up her children. Spears described feeling "like a slave" and alluded to "secret things they did behind my back."
Spears, who was married to Federline from 2004 to 2008, has previously used her social media to express grievances with family members, including her father, Jamie Spears, amid her lengthy conservatorship which ended in 2021. She has also been critical of Jamie Lynn's 2022 memoir and previously sent her a cease-and-desist letter regarding its contents. The singer's recent year has also included a DUI arrest in March and a subsequent three-week stint in rehab.
