Brandi Glanville has spoken out about the emotional toll of her ongoing battle with facial disfigurement, admitting she feels "embarrassed" by a GoFundMe campaign initiated by a friend to help cover her medical bills. Glanville, a cast member on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," shared her feelings on her podcast, "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered."

"I don’t like to ask for help," Glanville told co-host James Maas, becoming emotional. "I never thought I would do this."

She explained that the financial strain of her treatment is significant, with weekly medical bills amounting to $7,000, even with insurance. Glanville stated that creditors contact her daily and that ceasing payments could jeopardize her medication and treatment progress, leaving her "spent in every way."

Despite her discomfort with the public nature of the fundraising page, Glanville acknowledged she has limited options. Maas offered support, telling her, "It’s not embarrassing. What’s embarrassing is the whole medical system… You need a GoFundMe."

Medical Diagnoses and History

Glanville recently disclosed several diagnoses following years of unexplained facial issues. These include "highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley fever), Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis." She also mentioned a fungal ball in her face that requires surgical removal.

In a video shared on Instagram, Glanville recounted her doctor observing "something alive" and "moving" in her face during an ultrasound. She expressed determination to seek medical intervention, stating, "If I don’t find a doctor to cut this out of my face, I’m just going to do it myself."

She first publicly addressed her facial disfigurement in 2024, attributing the condition to Bravo and describing it as leaving her "miserable" and "depressed." At the time, she hinted at the severity of her condition, saying, "I’m not even going to share the picture of when it sinks in." She also cautioned about the impact of stress on health and questioned the value of wealth in such circumstances, adding, "I couldn’t even work if I wanted to at this point."

In the same year, Glanville reported that some medical professionals suspected a parasite in her face, while others suggested "stress-induced edema." Later, in February, she linked her health problems to 20-year-old ruptured breast implants that had leaked silicone into her lymph nodes. Subsequently, she learned she had a benign facial tumor within a lymph node in her face.
