Bonnie Wright, known for her role as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise, has revealed that her newborn son, Aster, has been hospitalized six times since his birth five weeks ago. Wright, 35, and her husband, Andrew Lococo, 42, welcomed their second child last month.

In an Instagram post on Friday, Wright shared that Aster is receiving treatment for a condition the couple was aware of prior to his birth. "Our sweet little Aster has been to the hospital 6 times in his 5 weeks of life. Getting treatment for a condition we knew he’d be born with," Wright wrote, alongside a photo of her holding the infant. She expressed gratitude for the support from family and friends, noting, "The village is possible, text/call your pals ❤️."

Wright did not disclose the specific condition affecting her son. She announced Aster's arrival on September 28, sharing that the name Aster Sky Wright Lococo was inspired by the star-shaped flower. Her elder son, Elio Ocean Wright Lococo, was born in 2021. Wright had announced her second pregnancy in April, sharing a photo of Elio resting against her baby bump and stating, "Two babies on my lap. Our second little earthling joining us this autumn!!"

Wright has previously spoken about the challenges and rewards of motherhood, describing parenting as "beautiful and brutal in equal measure." She has also reflected on the influence of her Harry Potter character's on-screen family, the Weasleys, stating that their unconditional love and resourcefulness have inspired her own parenting approach.
