Bon Jovi ignited their 'Forever Tour' with a performance at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, July 7. This concert marks the band's first major tour dates in four years, following lead singer Jon Bon Jovi's vocal cord surgeries.
The 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees delivered a 21-song setlist that included enduring hits such as "Livin’ On A Prayer," "It’s My Life," "Wanted Dead or Alive," "Bad Medicine," and "You Give Love A Bad Name." The show also featured "I’ll Be There For You," "Born To Be My Baby," "Have a Nice Day," "Who Says You Can’t Go Home," and a cover of The Beatles' "With A Little Help From My Friends," which opened the concert.
Critics noted a strong return for Bon Jovi, with USA Today reporting that the singer "[reclaimed] his voice." Consequence observed, "There was still grit, conviction, and plenty of power behind his delivery, even if the pitch occasionally drifted from where longtime fans remember it." Ultimate Classic Rock added that Bon Jovi "sounded leaps and bounds better on Tuesday than he did at the end of the band’s 2022 tour, articulating his notes better and enunciating his lyrics more clearly."
The 'Forever Tour' is scheduled for nine dates at Madison Square Garden, with eight remaining shows from July 9 through July 26. As of publication, the lowest ticket prices found on SeatGeek were $211 including fees for the July 14 show. Other available tickets range from $222 to $248, including fees. A promotional code, NYPOST10, offers $10 off purchases over $250 for first-time SeatGeek users.
Bon Jovi released their 16th studio album, "Forever," in June 2024, which reached No. 5 on the US Billboard 200 chart. A "Legendary Edition" of the album followed on October 24, 2025. The album features collaborations with artists including Bruce Springsteen, Jelly Roll, Robbie Williams, James Bay, The War and Treaty, Lainey Wilson, Avril Lavigne, and Carín León.
The 'Forever Tour' lineup includes Jon Bon Jovi on lead vocals and guitar, David Bryan on keyboards, Tico Torres on drums, Hugh McDonald on bass, Phil X on lead guitar, Everett Bradley on percussion, and John Shanks on rhythm guitar. Richie Sambora, the band's former lead guitarist, has not been with Bon Jovi since 2018.
A two-week Bon Jovi pop-up store at 2 Penn Plaza's U Music Shop is also open until July 16, offering exclusive merchandise, giveaways, and opportunities to win autographed items. The store features apparel, keepsakes, and vinyl records not available elsewhere.
